About Us

Who are Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Optimist?

Our motto is "Friend of Youth". We are ALL about our youth and community. BellbrookSugarcreek Optimist is composed of committed members, all volunteers coming from many backgrounds. We have Bellbrook-Sugarcreek business owners, and former teachers, professionals, restaurant owner, librarians and church pastors and any other field you could imagine. We are a closely knit group who enjoy what we are doing and have fun while we are doing it!

We have one Annual Fundraiser

Avenue of Flags - We put American flags in front of over 400 Bellbrook-Sugarcreek homes or businesses five times a year. We store the flags and put them up prior to the event and pick them up after the event. As mentioned, the five times are Memorial Day, Flag Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Veterans Day.

All the proceeds and profits from this fundraiser goes to Bellbrook/Sugarcreek youth and community.
